Simon Mallett, commercial director of Acme Facilities Group commented: “Our engineers and apprentices are the heart and soul of our company – without them we would not be able to function as we do. That is why we are committed to developing and training our apprentices to the highest standards.

“We are also passionate about investing in youth and feel this is key to developing young blood into the sectors we operate.

“I personally am very pleased that Daniel and Adam’s hard work has be recognised by being shortlisted for the RAC National student of the year awards. Both Adam and Daniel have grown into very competent refrigeration engineers over the course of their apprenticeships.

“We are very lucky to have them on our team and they are now part of the team developing and mentoring this year’s intake of four apprentices.”
