The Hilton Aberdeen Treetops is to shell out £75,000 on upgrading its kitchen and purchasing catering equipment as part of a wider refurbishment project at the hotel.
The venue is currently undergoing a £425,000 renovation programme that will include changes to its corridors, the refurbishment of 30 bedrooms and the creation of a new lounge area serving 24-hour beverages.
The project is due to be completed this autumn, with the hotel to remain in operation throughout the works.
“This is just the latest in an ongoing programme of upgrades we have undergone at the hotel to ensure we remain a key player in attracting both business and leisure visitors to the city,” said Stewart Lorimer, area general manager for North of Scotland.
The current overhaul comes less than a year after Hilton Aberdeen Treetops spent £400,000 revamping its lobby lounge areas, reception space and ballroom as well as its Springfield Restaurant.
