Zip Heaters has recently installed 29 taps at ITV’s London Television Centre Studios. The tap incorporates energy-efficient, filtration and space-saving features and delivers filtered, boiling, chilled and sparkling water in an instant.
Specified throughout the 22-storey ITV building in central London, the HydroTap was installed to increase the amount of drinks available to employees and visitors, free up space and save energy. The tap cuts out the time previously wasted waiting for the kettle to boil in large places of work.
John Motton of Norland Managed Services, who specified the product for ITV, said: “In such a creative, busy working environment, ITV needed a solution that would not only look good but would be able to meet the high demand for drinks whilst also saving time, energy and money.
“When working across such a large building, each floor comes with its own location issues. The options within Zip’s HydroTap’s range meant it was possible to be flexible enough to cater for each situation.”
Paul Colebrook, sales director at Zip Heaters, said: “With hundreds of people working and visiting the ITV building every day, including some of biggest TV personalities in the UK, ITV had to be sure to choose a quality product that would be able to effectively meet a constantly busy demand for drinks. We have been delighted with the feedback that we have had from the ITV London Television Centre.”
