Zerica has introduced the BeviLaNatura Natura Hot’n’Cold drinks dispenser, which can produce chilled water, fruit juice, iced tea, iced coffee, hot tea, coffee and hot water, all from one machine.
The unit is said to deliver drinks cleanly, quickly and easily. Touchscreen operated, the Hot’n’Cold is compact (measuring 33W x 43D x 71H cm), and is designed to be low maintenance, high throughput, environmentally friendly, with Internet of Things technologies.
Telemetry is used to collect and publish a range of data including voltage, pressure and temperature, with intelligent proactive use of data resulting in email alerts.
Settings such as temperature and dilution levels can be managed remotely via an internet portal and this real-time monitoring facility allows remote diagnosis and problem resolution.
Particularly of interest in a vending environment, the machine can be configured to accept mobile-app-enabled payments. The large interactive touchscreen can also be used as advertising space by displaying bespoke videos and adverts plus the exterior of the machine can be personalised by wrapping it with customised graphics.
The Hot’n’Cold won a SCI Equipment Award at Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) in Singapore this April. The panel of experts from the foodservice industry judged entries on three key criteria: innovation, sustainability and cost savings.
The appliance is a progression from the Natura OnTop, an aesthetically identical model which dispenses chilled drinks plus still and sparkling water.
