Zanussi has launched its Professional NHT8 dishwasher in the UK.
The Italian marque is an autonomous subsidiary of Electrolux and has been reintroduced to the UK by five distributors which comprise the Springboard Group network: ABM Catering for Leisure, Airedale Group, Allsop & Pitts, IFSE Group and Whitco Catering & Bakery Equipment.
The new NHT8 is said to offer good speed due to a 45 second washing cycle. This gives the machine the ability to wash up to 80 racks of dirty dishes per hour and is said to enable between 12% and 100% more washing capacity than typical pass through dishwashers. This means it could wash up to 1,440 dirty plates every hour.
The water filtration system removes soil from the wash tank, designed to ensure clean washing water while reducing the amount of detergent required.
The rinse water pump enables rinsing and sanitation at 84°C, and the hood design prevents contamination of washed plates from water drops falling from the hood.
The rinse cycle uses only 2litres of water where the industry average is 2.4 to 3.0litres. This low water consumption saves on electricity costs as well as chemical costs.
The machine offers a clear loading height of 440mm, which allows for bulky items.
