The owners and joint managing directors of warewasher specialist Winterhalter, Jürgen and Ralph Winterhalter were guests of leading Thai political and economic figures at a dinner to mark this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos.
Discussions revolved around the many years of economic success of medium-sized companies across the whole Asia region.
The entire Asia region has become an important economic powerhouse. The food and beverage sector is growing at a particularly rapid rate. As a specialist in commercial warewashing, Winterhalter recognised this early on.
Ralph Winterhalter explained: “We have been successfully active in Asia for 25 years. With our own subsidiaries in Malaysia, China, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan and Thailand, we have built up a reliable sales and service networks.”
Jürgen Winterhalter added: “It was extremely interesting and exciting to talk about Thai economic policy with the deputy prime minister of Thailand, Pridiyathorn Devakula.”
The World Economic Forum is an independent international organisation devoted to improving the world by engaging leaders from politics, economics and society to design global, regional and economic agendas. For this year’s forum, 2,500 top managers and politicians from 140 different countries came together.
