Vollrath steps up European growth plans

Food service equipment supplier Vollrath has stepped up its plans for the European market by opening a wholly-owned subsidiary in the Netherlands.

The office will serve as its European HQ with a dedicated team providing a high level of service and sales support to existing and newly acquired customers.

CEO Paul Bartlet said Vollrath has had a presence in the European market for more than two decades, but the launch of the new office would allow it to expand further.

“Opening Vollrath Europe will help to further support our growing customer base, allowing us to provide commercial foodservice solutions that reduce operating costs and increase revenues for our customers,” he said.

Vollrath produces an array of products from stainless steel and aluminium to moulded plastics and fabricated steel for the worldwide foodservice industry and select OEM customers.

Paul D’Alberto, director of international development for The Vollrath Company, added: “The opening of a dedicated facility in Rijen for Vollrath demonstrates our commitment to the European foodservice market. The new location and staff will allow us to continue to serve our customers throughout Europe with the same high-level customer service Vollrath consistently provides for its customers domestically.”
