Vision Commercial Kitchens has designed and supplied the foodservice equipment facilities for an independent bar and kitchen North St Standard in Bristol.
This is a returning customer for the Heywood-based distributor, as it also outfitted its sister bar The Urban Standard which opened in Bristol in 2014.
As this was the second site Vision worked on, it was aware of the urban feel that it would want to create to accompany its varied menu.
The dealer was tasked with designing and installing the main kitchen and front service counter and incorporating all new equipment.
The equipment used had to be robust enough to be capable of withstanding a very demanding casual dining environment.
Local planning issues were very stringent and so this had to be carefully considered in all aspects of the design in order to comply with regulations.
The extract system which was incorporated was said to be robust and capable of dealing with a busy, demanding environment.
Tim Moores, The Standard’s proprietor and executive chef commented: “After using Vision for the design and installation of our kitchen at our first site, it was an obvious choice to use it once more for our second site.
“Vision takes the time to understand our exact needs and work closely with us to establish the specific equipment which will be suited to our menu and requirements.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the work Vision has carried out at both sites – The Standard brand has gone from strength to strength and the kitchens have remained more than capable of coping with an increasing demand.
“Once our very tight fit-out schedule began Vision ensured that it played a very active part in getting the restaurant open on time and any of the inevitable issues that occurred whilst all trades were on site were overcome and addressed without delay.
“We are currently working on another project with Vision as I know that I can rely on it to complete another exceptional site.”
