Testo, which produces monitoring systems for catering equipment temperature and humidity, as well as cooking oil, has cleared up the problems it experiences with its IT systems.
Yesterday the manufacturer wrote to its customers, stating: “We are currently experiencing some serious IT issues with the mail servers at our head office in Germany. As a result, we are not currently receiving any inbound email and have not received any emails that have been sent since the weekend.”
However, today it has updated its client base on the situation, saying: "The technical issues we were experiencing with our email servers have now been resolved and we are now receiving emails as normal."
Quality manager, Paul Jordan, commented: "Our primary aim is to always offer the very best customer service possible and I trust that we have demonstrated this by keeping you informed. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you."
