Temporary kitchen supplier turns call around in 24 hours

Dawsonrentals’ temporary facility was delivered to a care home within 24 hours of the initial enquiry.

At the end of October, Bristol-based Dawsonrentals Temporary Kitchens jumped into action to help a care home in Milton Keynes.

The temporary facility specialist received a call from a catering installations company which required an urgent solution for its care home client, due to a kitchen contamination in the existing facilities.

By lunchtime on the same day, contracts were signed and the process began to load the kitchen with equipment, as specified by the client. This included a combination oven, six-burner range and a salamander grill.

Dawsonrentals delivered a 25ft ‘Commander’ kitchen unit to site the next morning, meaning that the entire process from initial call through to delivery was complete in just 24 hours. On site, the unit was installed, commissioned and staff were trained on the use of the equipment.

The rental firm feels it was able to provide the quickest response during a critical time for the client, meaning that the care home could continue catering for its residents while the existing structure is renovated.
