Tableware manufacturer Villeroy & Boch has continued its tradition of supporting the next generation of hospitality professionals by running its annual trip to its facilities in Luxembourg and Germany.
The winners of the Young Master Chef of the Year, the British Culinary Federation Young Chef of the Year, the Craft Guild of Chefs Graduate Award Achievers, Hotelympia Hot Talent and the Acorn Scholar of the Year were on the 2-day study tour.
The trip included a visit to the Villeroy & Boch production and decoration centres in Mettlach, lunch at Castle Saareck, a visit to the Villeroy & Boch museum and aperitifs at Chateau Septfontaines in Luxumbourg.
The next day featured a presentation at the Luxembourg showroom and a tour of Bernard Massard, Luxembourg’s leading Cremant de Luxembourg wine maker. This was followed by lunch and a tour of Luxembourg City.
