Synergy Grill has been chosen as the cooking equipment provider for the World Steak Challenge competition, which will be held in London on 4 July.
The British company will provide six grills for the challenge which attracts beef producers from across the globe. This year’s event is being held at the Magic Roundabout, in the Old Street area of London.
Justin Cadbury, Synergy Grill CEO and chairman, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to collaborate with the organisers of the World Steak Challenge. It is a fantastic event with competitors coming from as far away as Australia to showcase their finest steaks.
“We see our grill as the perfect partner for the competition. Synergy Grill brings a range of benefits including ease of use, waste efficiency, energy savings of up to 59% and crucially creates well presented, extra juicy and succulently grilled steak.”
Now in its fourth year, the World Steak Challenge involves each entered steak being cooked and sampled by a panel of judges.
In the first stage of the challenge, the steaks are closely looked at in their raw form before they are cooked. Each steak is awarded a Bronze, Silver or Gold medal award, and the Gold medal winners then go forward to the second stage. From here, the steaks are cooked on the Synergy Grills by a range of chefs before a new panel of judges samples each one.
A winner for each category is then chosen, which includes the World’s Best Sirloin, World’s Best Rib Eye and the World’s Best Fillet. The steak with the highest overall score is then declared the World’s Best Steak, with the supplier given the title of World’s Best Steak Producer.
