Space’s project manager runs marathon for charity

Steve Fear, project manager at Space Catering Equipment of Gloucester, finished the Rome marathon for charity in March.

He raised £1,541 for local charity Allsorts, which supports disabled children and their families.

Allsorts is the Space Group’s charity of the year, with Fear telling local newspaper South West Business: “My friend Julian Hale has often talked about Allsorts; he has a lot of good, kind things to say about it. His son Sam has special needs and has attended its youth club every week for the past year. We thought it would be a good idea to help repay this charity in some small way for the fantastic work it does.”

Space will also be organising its main charity fundraising event in the summer, called the Space Longest Day Charity Challenge, with proceeds going to Allsorts.

The Space Group offers design and supply solutions for the foodservice industry and consists of Space Catering Equipment, Space Furniture and Space Interior Contracts.
