Smeg is looking to bring in two senior sales managers as it continues to grow its commercial foodservice equipment division in the UK.
The company announced plans to step up its focus on the commercial market at the back end of last year and after appointing Phil Coulstock as its business manager it set about creating a dealer-focused sales strategy.
Its efforts over the past 12 months have involved honing its warewashing portfolio for the UK market, putting in place a service and logistics network and growing its customer base. In the summer it launched its first ever online sales portal specifically for dealers.
Smeg is now seeking to hire two sales managers to support Coulstock and provide it with feet on the ground in the north and south of the country in time for 2015.
The main task of the new recruits will be to highlight business opportunities, develop new customer accounts and progress existing customer accounts.
