Shot in the arm for Falcon’s export sales

British manufacturer Falcon is hoping its export sales will go through the roof after pressing the flesh with hundreds of international equipment buyers at this week’s Gulfood exhibition.

The Ali Group-owned prime cooking manufacturer said its appearance at the Dubai event was “even more successful” than the previous year and had surpassed its expectations.

Falcon, which shared a stand with fellow AFE Group companies Williams and Mono Equipment, was one of 4,500 exhibitors at the event, which is the largest food and catering products show in the Middle East.

Export manager, Robert Purves, said it had met with dealers, consultants and customers from the Gulf, Lebanon, India, Kenya, Tunisia, Iran and Egypt.

“It’s been a really busy event for us,” he said. “We’ve had a lot of visitors to the stand from a whole range of sectors, including hotels, restaurants, healthcare, retail and airlines, showing real interest in a number of our products, particularly the new Dominator Plus Fusion range and G3425 chargrill.”

He added that Falcon’s E3101OTC oven range, which boasts full marine specification, including storm rails and door latches, had also generated strong interest.

“Gulfood is an important event for us as it’s a great opportunity to further improve our visibility in the region, promote the Falcon brand and the benefits we can offer, and generally build upon the hard work done so far in driving our business in this key region of the world,” said Purves.
