Serviceline scores ISO hat-trick

Serviceline has become the first professional kitchen maintenance supplier to achieve ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 — the three highest levels of ISO accreditation.

Serviceline boss, Steve Elliott, said the accreditation marks a “fantastic result” for the company’s 120 engineers and all its office staff at its headquarters in Stevenage.

The 9001 certification is a Quality Management System award, while the 14001 and 18001 accreditation is for Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System respectively.

“OHSAS 18001 proves we have passed the ultimate test in occupational health and safety practice and are able to consistently identify and control health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance,” said Elliott.

He added: “This pays pay dividends for customers by helping to minimise operating costs while ensuring the best working standards for our staff. This award together with ISOs 9001 and 14001 demonstrates our complete commitment to excellence throughout our business.”

The ISO assessments were carried out by ACS Registrars.

Serviceline offers a nationwide kitchen maintenance service that includes emergency breakdown services, installation and equipment replacement. Its engineers carry £1m worth of spare parts.
