Today marks the official announcement of the Catering Insight Awards 2017 shortlist – and what a task it was to whittle the nominees down to these finalists.

There is no shortlist for the Lifetime Achievement Award winner, instead the recipient will be revealed at the black tie gala awards ceremony, to be held at 8 Northumberland Avenue, Central London on Thursday 23 November.

Throughout the night a fun photobooth will be available, sponsored by Hobart, and following the main event, celebrations will continue at the official After-Party, sponsored by Atosa. Just round the corner from the awards venue, the Opal Bar on Victoria Embankment will host the revelry until late, including a bubbly reception, the choice of a free drink plus free shots and bottles of spirits available in the area reserved for awards guests.

The Catering Insight Awards is supported by Cedabond and MKN.

Voting on all the awards will open today and close on Monday 13 November. To ensure the process is as fair as possible, Catering Insight will be sending voting forms to the most senior representatives at both supplier and distributor companies, limiting the numbers to a few at each firm, with the suppliers voting on the distributor categories and the distributors choosing the supplier victors.

All votes will remain anonymous. Forms will land in inboxes by the end of the day, but if anyone has been missed off the list, contact clare.nicholls@itppromedia.com to check.
