RH Hall mounts search for area sales manager as team expands

RH Hall is looking to expand its team by bringing on board a new area sales manager for the Midlands and Wales region.

The vacancy has arisen following the promotion of its current Midlands ASM to the role of business development manager as the company steps up its coverage of key trade accounts and the public sector.

Sales director, Kris Brearley, says the Bedfordshire-based outfit is seeking a “passionate and highly motivated” catering equipment sales professional to join the business and oversee its sales activities in a very important region.

“As area sales manager, the candidate will play a key role in building our market presence within the Midlands and Wales region with our existing and new distributor partners,” he explained. “We’re looking for somebody with a passion for hospitality and foodservice, who wants to grow their career with a long-established, forward-thinking and growing company that rewards success.”

RH Hall supplies a wide range of commercial catering equipment, from microwave ovens and combi steamers to beverage equipment and warewashing solutions. Amongst the exclusive brands it supplies are Sharp Commercial Microwaves, Maestrowave Catering Equipment and Smeg Foodservice Ovens.

The new area sales manager will work under the direction of its business development manager and will be responsible for selling its full range of products and services, including its exclusive key brands, to distributors, consultants, kitchen design houses, and installation- and service-based customers.

The role will involve developing existing customers, uncovering new opportunities, qualifying sales leads and owning, managing and driving the full sales cycle from contact through negotiation to close.

Mr Brearley said the ideal candidate would “ideally” have at least three years of experience within the hospitality or catering industry, preferably within the equipment supply chain, however it is also keen to consider applicants from outside the industry if they have B2B sales experience.

“Above all, it is vital that the area sales manager is self-motivated, ambitious and has a hands-on work ethic in order to be considered,”he added.
