South Tyneside-based Restaurant Design Associates (RDA) has appointed Alex Bradley, Nick Bradley and Neil Addyman as directors, who will support MD Roy Addyman as the company continues to expand its client portfolio.
The three newly appointed directors have each worked for RDA for more than 7 years – with Nick Bradley in a design manager role, Neil Addyman as operations manager and Alex Bradley as commercial manager.
They have now become members of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and will be assisting Roy Addyman in the day to day management of the business.
Roy Addyman commented: “As a business, we’ve enjoyed rapid year on year growth since we began trading, and this shows no sign of slowing.
“In fact, we are seeing repeat business from a variety of clients – from NHS trusts to contract caterers and private companies of all sizes, on a local, national and international scale.
“With this in mind, we felt the time was right to expand our team of directors as we steer the company towards continued growth.
“Alex, Neil and Nick have all been involved with RDA since its early days.
“Together, they have valuable knowledge and experience across all areas of the business and are well placed to lend their support as we work closely together to provide the best service for our growing client base.”
Kitchen design house RDA was set up in 2007 and now employs 18 people including designers, quantity surveyors, project managers, specialist consultants and site managers.
Since its launch, the company has completed more than 300 projects for a wide range of clients across the UK and beyond, including hospitals, universities, blue chip companies and independent restaurants.
This year, RDA has seen particular success in the education sector, through winning new tenders, securing further work with Durham University and Northumbria University, and becoming the official headline sponsor of the Independent Schools’ Bursars Association (ISBA) Annual Conference in Edinburgh.
