Commercial kitchen design and installation company, Restaurant Design Associates (RDA), has recently been accredited the new ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard, and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Standard, issued on 14 September 2017 – over a year ahead of the deadline.
The Quality Management Standard assesses a company’s capability to consistently provide products and services that increase customer satisfaction, whilst the Environmental Management Standard helps provide assurance to company management and employees that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
The ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognised achievement, and succeeding this can result in a higher profile and increased business overseas. Not only can it help differentiate a business from its competitors, but many large corporations and public sector organisations require suppliers to be ISO 9001 certified.
Currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, Hebburn-based RDA has continued to expand its portfolio, completing more than 300 projects for a wide range of clients.
Holding the following accolades: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 18001:2007, CHAS and Safecontractor – both of which are SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) members, RDA feels they have allowed it to become one of the UK’s most reputable design, supply and installation companies.
Director Alex Bradley commented: “Over the last 10 years, we have really established ourselves as the UK’s go-to catering design company.
“Our work with some of the world’s most established brands, alongside the introduction of three new directors and our ongoing investment, improvement and achievement in management, environmental and health and safety standards, has truly reflected our team’s continued dedication and hard work.”
