A Cornwall commercial refrigeration firm plans to do its bit for the environment every time it lands a sale from a local pub group.
Helston-based Cornwall Cooling has pledged to plant a tree for every new installation it provides at St Austell Brewery pubs.
The company has already got off the mark after carrying out a cellar cooling project at The Castle Inn on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
Managing director Steve Dunk hopes he’ll be reaching for the trowel and gardening gloves again soon.
“It’s a small and simple act, but I want to provide a lasting contribution to the environment and the communities in which we work and live,” he said. “I know it’s a cause close to St Austell Brewery’s heart and I am really pleased to be working with them.”
Dunk set up Cornwall Cooling nine years ago and the company provides a range of equipment and supply services in the refrigeration and cooling sector, including solutions for commercial kitchens and bakeries.
