Tamar Industries, a provider of commercial kitchens and other industrial services, has strengthened its team with two new appointments, including an experienced catering engineer.
Clare McCann has joined the Plymouth-based outfit as marketing development manager, while Tony Mortimer fills the role of catering engineer.
McCann brings across marketing and promotional knowledge from the IT sector to her new role, while Mortimer has been working in the catering equipment sector for more than three decades.
He has worked with many high profile operators designing, planning, installing and maintaining commercial kitchens, bakery equipment and fast food equipment.
McCann will report directly to business owners and directors Andrew Pearse and Simon Atkinson, while Mortimer reports directly to operations manager, Andy Lawson.
Atkinson commented: “Tamar Industries has continued to grow across all areas of its business, and in particular the provision of catering solutions. We are delighted to confirm that Clare McCann has been appointed as marketing development manager and Tony Mortimer as catering engineer. They bring tremendous experience that will really support our ambitious growth plans.”
Tamar Industries was set up in 2006 and serves businesses within the southwest of England.
Catering is one of four divisions that the company operates. The other divisions include AV systems, CCTV and air conditioning and refrigeration.
