Following a period of investment and growth for the overall business, Leeds-based Hopkins Catering Equipment continued this trend by further developing its catering equipment division, with Phil Dixon joining the company in January as capital equipment sales manager.
Hopkins Catering Equipment is well known for its fish and chip industry specialism, offering bespoke fish and chip ranges that are manufactured in its factory in Leeds. But it also offers a full range of capital catering equipment items to all its clients, whatever solution they require, regardless of their needs or which market sector they come from.
Dixon has joined the business to oversee and grow this catering equipment side of the business. This division, which is able to offer bespoke kitchen design and project management as well as one-off sales on all aspects of capital catering equipment, is aiming for substantial and sustained growth over the coming years and for it to work in conjunction with the manufacturing side of the business which offers a full range of fish and chip/takeaway-related items.
Prior to this, Dixon spent another stint at Brakes Catering Equipment, where he originally joined the industry back in 2001. Between 2007 and 2016 he joined Caffe Society to set up a catering equipment division that later became CS Catering Equipment, now an independent business.
Hopkins MD Victoria Hopkins commented: “I am absolutely delighted to have Phil join Hopkins at this exciting time. We are moving into a major phase of growth over the next few years with significant plans for expansion so Phil’s industry knowledge will really add valuable experience to our team.”
