Pentland Wholesale has recently promoted Simon Norris to sales director.
Norris joined the catering equipment importer in 2001 in an administrative role and progressed to sales manager in 2004. The company feels he has been integral to the growth of the business.
Having over 15 years sales experience in the refrigeration and catering equipment industry, Norris specialises in customer account management, sales processes, lead generation and marketing strategy.
He said: “I look forward to contributing to the future development of Pentland Wholesale in my new position. We will continue to work hard to meet the expectations of our customers and with many new and exciting products in the pipeline I am absolutely confident of Pentland and our dealer network’s future success.”
Commercial director Maxine Mason added: “I am delighted to welcome Simon to his new position as sales director. Having worked with Simon for many years I have great confidence in his ability to help drive Pentland forward in the years to come.”
Now is a particularly dynamic time for the company, as it is in the process of buying out fellow supplier, CEP. CEP will continue to operate as a separate business after the acquisition and will retain David Jones to head up the firm.
