Pantheon overhauls pizza oven design

Pantheon’s pizza ovens have been improved for 2018.

Pantheon has updated its PO pizza ovens with expanded toughened glass viewing windows, which allow the pizzas to be monitored closely without needing to open the door.

The units feature temperature selection of up to 500°C, and refractory brick bases to ensure heat distribution. The fabrication includes a stainless steel door with tempered glass that is designed to withstand the high heat output.

The manufacturer offers a single and double deck option, with each deck holding 4 x 12” pizzas. With the double deck model, operators have the option of using just one section during less busy periods.

An internal light to each deck should help to maintain control over the pizza while appealing to diners. A mechanical temperature gauge is fitted as standard.

With a claimed quick heat up time, the units can be supplied ready for either 32A single phase or three phase electricity.

The PO models are targeted at high street restaurants and takeaways targeting the pizza market, as well as hotels and leisure centres with an informal bar or snack menu. The ovens can also be used for cooking items such as baked potatoes and pies.
