Catering equipment giant Nisbets has revamped its delivery and returns schedule to speed up the time it takes to get products to customers in certain areas of the country.
The Bristol-based company confirmed that it has recently introduced a new system which expands its abilities to deliver to customers in some areas a lot quicker than it did previously.
The firm has also added a new Saturday ‘premium’ delivery option to provide greater flexibility for caterers.
Nisbets usually promises next day delivery on orders received by 5pm, but orders placed on a Friday don’t normally reach the customer until the following Monday. However, the addition of the premium delivery service means clients can request products are received on the Saturday.
The cost of the Saturday premium service is £10 for orders below £50 and £5 for orders between £50 and £100. There is no charge on orders above £100.
Nisbets, which has just added 900 new products to its latest catalogue, says the Saturday delivery service is open to customers in mainland areas of the UK, but it is unable to offer the option in remote areas, overseas and Northern Ireland.
