Catering equipment distribution giant, Nisbets, has snapped up a 145,000ft2 warehouse at the Balby Carr Bank trading estate in Doncaster.
The Bristol-based firm will hand the operation of the unit to its logistics partner Price Express Transport.
The warehouse will be used to hold stock for Nisbets in order to reduce its cut off time for orders from Northern-based customers for next day delivery.
Owned by Threadneedle Pensions, the property was let to Leeds-based industrial property specialist Gent Visick, which in turn sublet to Nisbets.
The unit recently underwent a programme of refurbishment works, undertaken by Threadneedle Pensions.
Alex Brouwer from Columbia Threadneedle said: “The letting to Nisbets prior to completion of the improvement works fully justifies our decision to bring this unit up to a specification which we felt would be of interest to the modern occupier in accordance with the recommendations from our letting agent.”
Gent Visick advised Threadneedle Pensions whilst Knight Frank and Russell Property Consultants Limited acted on behalf of Nisbets.
