There will be a new name in the catering equipment game when Ascentia Foodservice Equipment officially launches its collection of imports to the UK market at The Restaurant Show in London between 5-7 October.
The new Cambridge-based supplier will represent one Spanish and five Italian catering equipment brands.
The brands comprise Pavesi gas and wood fired pizza ovens, Berto’s cooking equipment, Piron convection and combination steam ovens, Moretti Forni deck and conveyor pizza ovens, Dalmec commercial refrigeration, as well as Spanish charcoal oven manufacturer, Mibrasa.
However, the man behind the new name, Neil Mantle, is not new to the industry, as he has over 20 years of experience, including stints at Adande and ServEquip.
He commented: “This brings the largest and unrivalled selection of premium quality catering equipment to the UK market in over 10 years.
“The product portfolio has been carefully selected to satisfy various applications within commercial catering environments. With our official launch at The Restaurant Show we will have three live cooking theatres operating throughout the exhibition demonstrating the wide ranging capabilities of each product.”
