New starters take up roles at Manitowoc

Manitowoc Foodservice has extended its UK-based team with the creation of a new role, as well as welcoming a new member to the team in an existing post.

Vivienne Palmer joins Manitowoc in the newly created role of role of field marketing manager, E-IMEA, having previously gained experience of marketing within the food and consumer durables sector.

She will be primarily responsible for developing dedicated training, marketing and sales tools for Manitowoc’s field sales team as well as providing marketing leadership with Europe, India, Middle East and Africa for a number of the Manitowoc brands.

Sharon Clarke has also joined the Manitowoc team as regional sales manager for the Midlands, Yorkshire and North East.

Her job will be to develop business through existing and potential new distributors within her territory, ensuring that Manitowoc’s products are promoted to the private and public sector.

Clarke has held sales and account management roles within the catering equipment industry for the past 12 years, including working for Peterborough-based Catering Equipment Solutions (CESA).
