Caffeine Ltd’s new sales manager, Ben Cohen, has emphasised that he will be working closely with distributors as a main focus of his role.
Cohen said he will help distributors and end users to get more out of their coffee service. “Like most people in the hospitality industry, I’m a huge coffee drinker. I see Caffeine Limited as being all about quality – not only in terms of the equipment and the coffee itself, but also service and training. Too few coffee companies give enough attention to customer support – that’s going to be my main focus.”
The appointment comes at a time of rapid expansion for the coffee machine supplier – as well as distributing Schaerer and Gaggia equipment, the company is about to launch its own range of roasted coffees.
Cohen brings plenty of experience to the table – mainly from having worked as an operator. He was general manager with Loch Fyne restaurants and owned a small chain of restaurants himself. He’s also worked in hospitality recruitment.
“Ben has a huge passion for the industry and, having been there, he totally understands the operator’s point of view,” said Justin Stockwell, MD of Caffeine Ltd. “We’re all about making a difference to our customers – Ben’s knowledge is enhancing our ability to deliver that difference.”
Outside of work Cohen, 35, is an ex-rugby player and is based in the Greater London area.
