Asian cooking equipment brand Nayati has been pressing the flesh with distributors this week, as its UK operation officially launches in the UK.
The Indonesian-based catering equipment manufacturer, a powerhouse in South-East Asia, is exhibiting more than 50 products from its catalogue on a stand featuring live cooking demonstrations from UK chef Michael O’Hare.
The equipment line-up features a brand new six-burner range developed for the UK market and the soon-to-be-available Amicus 600, Meritus 750 and Grandis 900 series Ranges. It also offers combination ovens and warewashing ranges.
Nayati UK was set up last year by Stuart Campbell, the former managing director of CaterQuotes. Over the last few months it has supplied kit for projects involving colleges, fine dining locations and independent caterers.
Stuart Campbell, managing director of Nayati, said the brand’s first appearance at Hotelympia is a major move in its sales and marketing programme.
“Like every manufacturer we see Hotelympia as an important date in the business calendar and it is our hope that, having seen our equipment up close, both suppliers and end-users will understand and appreciate our value engineering without compromise message,” said Campbell. “For us, value is at the heart of our every product and everything we do.”
