Catering equipment manufacturer E&R Moffat has made two more key appointments in its sales department as the company drives through its expansion plans.
Eric Clarke is Moffat’s new sales area manager for South East England, taking over from Justin Towns. Clarke has more than 30 years’ experience of sales and project management in the catering industry, gained with names including Hobart and Rational.
“I am joining the company at a great time,” he said. “Moffat is building on its solid traditions and has exciting plans going forward.’’
David McPherson also recently joined as sales manager for Scotland, North of England and Ireland. McPherson brings design and project management skills to the team and was previously with Falcon Foodservice, where the blue chip projects he oversaw included bespoke special development units and multiple MOD naval contracts.
John Wannan, the company’s sales and marketing manager said: “Both appointments underline Moffat’s commitment to focus on our customers. The feedback from our customer groups about the changes we have made is very positive.

Eric and David’s experience continues this approach and will help Moffat differentiate itself from our competitors.”
The firm is also investing in the next generation by hiring Matthew McEwan to the sales and marketing team. Initially McEwan will combine studies in business and marketing at Stirling University with work, joining the company full time on completion of his honours degree.
He is part of a longer term employment strategy to ensure continuity and that the future needs of the business are met.
