Moffat has revamped its Versicarte range of mobile food servery counters with the launch of special Deli Display versions.
Versicarte is a modular system of trolleys that caterers can use to create a complete food servery area.
Butted together they form a straight or angular service counter, while stand alone units can create a free-flow self-service environment, according to the company.
The new Deli models feature curved glass screens, glass shelving and an illuminated gantry that all help display the food to best advantage. They also have a useful storage cabinet below.
“The Versicarte range is aimed particularly at schools and other institutions who need a flexible solution to foodservice,” said Gary Allen, sales director at Moffat.
“Increasing competition from the high street means that they have to enhance the look and appeal of their servery areas.
The new Deli models offer a really attractive display that can help them compete with the high street head-on. Plus, being mobile, they are versatile — they can be moved around as menus change and stored out of the way when not in use,” he said.
The Deli Display is available in both refrigerated and heated versions, and in a number of different sizes.
Moffat says that the standard units are open at the back for access, so staff can easily restock and serve the food, while it also offers the option of rear sliding Perspex doors.
