Bonnybridge-based manufacturer Moffat has announced two new appointments, both of which are intended to boost the company’s customer service.
Liam Barr joins as production planner while Sinclair Campbell has moved internally from manufacturing and product testing to the R&D department.
Barr is 25 and has experience in manufacturing and planning, most recently in the oil and gas industry.
He’s a proficient user of specialist software packages including Autodesk Inventor.
At Moffat he will be part of the production team responsible for overseeing orders and ensuring that everything goes right for the customer.
“As a local man I was delighted to have the opportunity to join Moffat to develop my career,” he said.
“This is a company with a great vision for the future and it’s really going places.”
Campbell is also 25 and has been with Moffat for some time, having joined as an apprentice mechanical engineer.
Now he will be working on new product development in the R&D department.
“I’m looking forward to using my experience from the manufacturing to help turn customer concepts into workable designs,” he said.
“It’s exciting to be working in a very progressive NPD programme, where we are working directly with customers to meet their needs.”
