Metcalfe Catering Equipment has added the Hallde RG-100 vegetable preparation machine to its offerings.
The unit can process up to 400 portions per day, equivalent to 5kgs of produce per minute.
The table-top model, measuring 425mm x 215mm x 495mm, is designed to make more than 45 different cuts, and can slice, dice, shred, grate, cut julienne and waffle vegetables, fruits, dry bread, cheese, nuts, mushrooms, and more.
Described as light but heavy duty, the model has handles for easy movement around the kitchen, making it suitable for cafés and bars, restaurants, schools, hospitals, hotels, catering, canteens, anywhere that demands high cutting performance and durability in limited space.
The aluminium construction is designed to be robust and easy to keep clean, while all the stainless steel cutting tools can be placed in a dishwasher.
Continuous feeding should be simple with a built-in tube feeder and a start/stop function, while an optional feeder enables angle cut slices for wok dishes or salads. Other accessories include a trolley, machine table, tool wall rack, and a special pipe insert for the continuous feeding of long products.
