CESA has revealed that it received a record number of subscription leads at the recent Hotelympia exhibition.
The association already represents 170 industry companies, but is hoping it can build on that number following the interest it gained.
It received no less than 32 membership enquiries from equipment supply companies during the show, which chairman Nick Oryino said was one of the most satisfying statistics to take away from the week.
“To receive this number of new enquiries to join the association is unprecedented,” he said.
“It demonstrates the growing importance of CESA’s work and initiatives, in a wide range of areas, from training programmes and influencing legislators to helping develop H&S regulations, creating forums and providing market data — all of which can play key roles in facilitating our members’ business growth.”
CESA added that seven graduates also picked up their Certified Food Service Professional qualifications during Hotelympia, bringing the total number of CFSP-accredited professionals in the UK to 264.
