Melitta is gunning for growth in the coffee equipment market after launching the second generation version of its HACCP-compliant Cup machine.
The Cup 2 is capable of producing up to 180 drinks per hour and has an eight-hour menu, allowing scope for various espresso-based coffee specialities as well as hot chocolate and hot water for tea.
According to the manufacturer, the machine is ideal for operators that want a simple-to-use coffee operation, particularly as it uses a premium, freeze dried milk that does not require constant operator monitoring.
Attention is needed only when the beans and other ingredients need to be replenished or the grounds discarded.
Cup 2 can be supplied with coin, token or card payment systems making it ideal for offices, factories, hospitals, canteens and showrooms.
