Mark Kendall isn’t quite a single company man, but with 14 years under his belt at Inox Equip, he comes close.
Like many people at the top of the foodservice equipment industry today, Mark can trace his career all the way back to working in the hospitality industry, in his case as bar manager at Warwickshire’s Ettington Park Hotel.
Little more than a decade later, Mark was at Inox, overseeing projects across the UK including three Genting Casinos, the Library of Birmingham and the Union Jack Club in London.
More recently, the firm completed the outfitting of new kitchens at the Barclaycard Arena, a contract that saw it employed as the consultant for the refurbishment and re-development of the catering facilities in what marked the largest project it has delivered to date.
His service to the catering industry does not stop at Inox. Mark has been a strong supporter of CEDA throughout his career, and has recently been appointed as a regional chair for the organisation.
He is also happy to share his time and resources for charitable causes including working with the Brixton Soup Kitchen — a project that earned Inox an outstanding customer service award at the most recent CEDA conference.
Mark is now passing on his wisdom and experience to a new generation of professionals, having created a graduate programme at Inox that has trained several young recruits in the rigours and rewards of the catering equipment industry.
