Matt Jennings is currently proving that he is more than ready to carry the family baton at Hallmark Kitchens, where his father Kevin is Managing Director.
Joining the Kent-based kitchen design house in September 2010, over the past neatly 7 years he has built up an impressive portfolio as Contracts Manager and Project Manager.
Well known for his contract and site management expertise, his projects resume reads like a who’s who of major clients. These include: HP Enterprise, Hilton Bankside, Tate Britain, Royal Sun Alliance, Intercontinental Hotel, United Airlines, Heathrow, Chifafa Restaurant, Portland Street Restaurant, AquaShard & Hutong, The Shard, Pinsent Masons, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Coca Cola, Rothschild Bank, Goldman Sachs, Poker Stars.
One of the most recent projects he was involved in was the ‘10 Trinity Square’ project in London comprising of a new Four Seasons Hotel, luxury private apartments, Michelin star restaurant, lounges and bars. Led by Project Director, Andrew Arnold, this massive undertaking involved the supply and installation of five kitchen areas spread over three floors: a staff restaurant, full laundry facility, local and centralised plate/potwash rooms, refuse/bin wash, three bespoke front of house bars and two stand alone support pantry facilities.
Matt’s achievements are all the more impressive considering he was originally on a different career path, completing a BA in Film, Cinema and Video Studies at the University of Kent. He still puts these skills to use in his free time as a keen travel and events photographer, with clients including MacMillan, The View from The Shard, Tate Britain and various bands.
