The ‘service department’ for any company can be another phrase for ‘complaints department’ but the speed and efficiency with which David Freeman deals with customer comments can turn negatives into positives, praise and further sales.
He has an incredible 39 years’ experience within the commercial catering equipment industry, including as the government account manager for maintenance specialist, Serviceline.
Recently appointed as the Business Development Manager of Airedale Technical Care following a stint as National Sales Manager for the Acme Group, his in-depth knowledge is dovetailing nicely with the procedures, technology, staff and resources at the distributor, giving him the tools to provide the service and after sales service for the firm’s entire new and existing client base.
During his career he was the National Contract Sales Manager at the Carford Group between 2005 and 2013 and prior to that, the Managing Director of Caterserv from 1999 to 2005 Furthermore, he has also held positions with major manufacturers including WM Still, Hobart and Electrolux.
David is always keen to put the customer first, and his industry colleagues feel he is a key part of Airedale’s approach to customer service and satisfaction.
