Mark Cooke swaps Gram for Synergy Grill

Cambridge-based Synergy Grill has appointed Mark Cooke as national business development manager.

Joining from Gram UK, Cooke brings over 20 years of industry experience to the team. He gained extensive experience in the catering industry as a chef, chef tutor and sales roles in fine food supply, food production and prime cooking and refrigeration equipment, which includes 5 years at Gram UK and 8 years with Lincat.

Synergy Grill believes his insight into the demands of both end users and suppliers will be invaluable in helping to drive the business forward.

His new role will be focused on building the existing distributor network in the North, Scotland and Ireland, along with developing business opportunities with the cooking equipment manufacturer’s dealer network.

Cooke commented: “I’m delighted to be joining the Synergy Grill team and I’m excited about the added benefits and potential of the Synergy Grill, which offers genuine added value to distributors to offer to their clients. I’m looking forward to contributing to the company’s future growth plans.”

Synergy Grill’s CEO and chairman Justin Cadbury welcomed the appointment, saying: “Mark combines critical industry knowledge with a desire to introduce progressive technology.
