Well-known foodservice equipment business development manager, Mark Cooke, has been recruited by Liebherr to lead its growth in the catering and hospitality sectors.
Cooke joins the refrigeration manufacturer from Synergy Grill, where he developed equipment sales on the back of its growing reputation with leading chefs in the UK and overseas.
It is hoped Cooke will add expertise in commercial refrigeration and contacts from his previous senior business development role with Gram UK.
Cooke said: “Obviously, I can’t wait to call on my experience with Gram and focus on developing the reputation of Liebherr for high quality, energy-efficient refrigeration solutions.
“I will use my contacts with dealer businesses and professional bodies like CEDA, CESA and FCSI to support Liebherr in providing the most suitable refrigeration and freezing equipment options for operators.”
Stephen Ongley, national sales manager for Liebherr’s GB’s refrigeration division, added: “It’s a real coup for Liebherr to be able to welcome Mark to lead on developing our commercial refrigeration sales nationally in foodservice.
“His experience with Gram and developing their business in foodservice refrigeration is ideal, and so is his career going back to being a hospitality industry training advisor and an accomplished chef. We are delighted to appointment someone of Mark’s calibre and have him take Liebherr forward in building its foodservice business.”
