Bradford-based ventilation equipment manufacturer Mansfield Pollard has been presented with the inaugural ‘Contractor of the Year’ title at this year’s CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) Yorkshire Awards.
Back for a second year, the CIBSE Yorkshire awards honour and celebrate the achievements of the building services industry across the region, and showcase the projects, companies, and individuals that have made outstanding contributions. New for 2017 was the Contractor of the Year award which was introduced to reflect the industry in the region.
The judges were reportedly impressed with Mansfield Pollard’s ability to drive team collaboration between its staff and contractor team at all project stages, its health and safety practices, and its design delivery and build solutions for complex and challenging air management applications.
Joanna Robinson, MD at Mansfield Pollard said: “We were honoured to win the CIBSE Yorkshire Contractor of the Award – an achievement made possible by the sheer hard work and commitment of all who work for or with Mansfield Pollard.
“Winning this award further cements the confidence that people have in our ability to develop ‘best in class’ solutions for the most complex air management applications, and deliver exceptional levels of customer service.
“Everyone in the business can be extremely proud of this latest achievement. We win these prestigious awards because of the hard work, commitment, skills, foresight, and passion of our people.”
Simon Owen, M&E recruiter and director, Calibre Search, and chairman of CIBSE Yorkshire, said: “It was great to see Mansfield Pollard win the Contractor of the Year Award; it highlights the importance of their investment in people and their business as well as their commitment to the region.”
