This year’s CESA Heavy Equipment Forum looks set to top last year’s inaugural event, with manufacturers Rational, Falcon and Williams, along with suppliers BGL Rieber and Hubbard Systems, signing up for the first time.
These firms are among the 15 companies that will showcase their latest models to distributors’ sales representatives at the forum, which will be held at Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Towcester on 1 October.
Returning exhibitors from last year’s event are Electrolux, First Choice, Gram, Grande Cuisine, Jestic, Manitowoc, Retigo, R.H.Hall, Victor and Wexiodisk. CESA runs the forum in association with CEDA, Cedabond and ENSE.
“The day offers a focused, time-efficient way to keep up with the latest catering equipment technologies and techniques,” said Simon Frost, chair of CESA. “It delivers professional product training, covering areas such as service and technical support and environmental approaches as well as new developments and leading-edge technology.”
The day is followed by the Heavy Equipment Forum Awards presentation dinner.
Places at the forum are free to foodservice professionals, provided they are involved in the selling or specifying of catering equipment. Also included free are places at the awards dinner, plus free overnight accommodation at Whittlebury Hall Hotel, including breakfast, on the night of 1 October.
Attendance at the event is also worth three points towards the CFSP Evaluation of Experience. “Last year we were oversubscribed, so anyone planning to come in 2015 should book up as soon as possible,” added Frost.
