Warewashing and ice equipment supplier Maidaid Halcyon recognised the need to expand its warehouse storage facilities after years of growing the business operations.
Plans were drawn up and builders contracted to add a 30% extension of high bay storage warehousing to its existing head office site in Brackley Northants.
The expansion enables Maidaid Halcyon to keep up with increased customer demand by ensuring they are able to carry sufficient stock across Maidaid’s warewashing and ice machine range.
The aim was to have the additional warehouse space available for the extra stock Maidaid Halcyon would require to cover the holiday period of August, traditionally when many factories in continental Europe close their doors.
“They did it,” said Julian Lambert, Maidaid Halcyon’s sales director. “I did not believe it was possible when the plans were first unveiled to me but the Brackley team have worked tirelessly to provide and equip the additional warehousing.”
Lambert continued: “Maidaid Halcyon’s aim is to be able to supply machines from stock for next day delivery with the only exception being larger bespoke rack and flight machines. With the additional space we can now stock our New Evolution Minirack models. August is a difficult month but with the additional stock facility we are confident we can satisfy our customers’ requirements.”
