LLK gets ENSE conference off to a tasty start

Catering equipment supplier Linda Lewis Kitchens (LLK) hosted the first ever ENSE opening party at the firm’s demonstration facility in Oldham on Tuesday night.

The relaxed affair saw members of the ENSE buying group gather for networking, pizza and prosecco to signal the start of the 2-day conference in Manchester.

Guests were picked up from The Midland Hotel where ENSE members are staying for the duration of the conference and taken directly to LLK’s facility which the pizza equipment specialists moved into in September last year.

Upon arrival guests were greeted by LLK MD Linda Lewis and ENSE MD Bob Adams, who awarded Jack Sweet from KCCJ with a trip to Italy after his name was successfully pulled out of the box of surveys guests filled out on their departure from The Midland Hotel.

On hand to cook for the attendees was Fabio Aurelio, the brand’s new development chef who started his role on Monday. Aurelio has been employed by the pizza equipment specialist in this role due to his extensive background as a pizzaolo who has worked in various high-end restaurants around the world.

His appointment means that the brand will now offer a new consultancy and menu development package to its list of services, as well as on-the-road training for dealers. The development chef will be available to dealers to help them with any customers who may require additional assistance and product training on any of LLK’s portfolio.

It was all hands-on deck for LLK staff at the party, with Aurelio being assisted by directors Jenna Lewis and Will Pilling acting as sous chefs.

Linda Lewis stated: “It was really nice to see new and old faces at LLK, share our fabulous facilities with them and give them a chance to meet my team in person. Overall we received great feedback and look forward to seeing our dealers again at our next demonstration day.”

LLK hosts regular dealer demonstration workshops at the Oldham facility, to equip its dealers with all the skills they need to be confident in selling the full range of equipment that the importer has in its portfolio.
