Linda Lewis Kitchens (LLK) helped its pizza equipment professional partner Cuppone in a series of new launches at this year’s Host exhibition in Milan.
Chief among these was a space-saving version of the Evolution electric corner pizza oven. For the last 14 years since its inception in 2003, the Evolution has been available in one size only, with a cooking capacity of 8 x 12” pizzas per deck.
Recognising the demand for smaller ovens to optimise valuable kitchen-space, and following on from the launch of the slimline Tiziano ovens earlier in 2017, Cuppone has continued the theme by down-sizing the Evolution oven with the new smaller model having a reduced cooking capacity of 6 x 12” pizzas per deck.
The latest model has been specifically designed to achieve a high productive capacity without the oven taking up valuable kitchen space. Its exterior is designed to be suitable for front of house and theatre kitchen installations.
The oven features a panoramic glass door and internal lights which allow users to check the progress of their pizzas without opening the door and losing heat, and a cordierite stone base for an authentic Italian pizza.
The new Evolution model, available with an optional extraction hood and a floor-stand to suit, will be available to the UK market from January 2018.
Cuppone and LLK also announced the addition of Cuppone’s own range of pizza accessories to the UK market portfolio. The accessories range is handmade in Italy to complement the quality of the Cuppone ovens.
LLK is the sole importer of the Cuppone brand to the UK and Ireland, and has been for more than 8 years. In November 2016, LLK launched its fully operational demonstration kitchen where dealers and their customers are invited to attend and trial equipment with the brand’s development chef, Fabio Aurelio five days-a-week, before making any commitment to buy.
