Oldham-based Italian catering equipment importer and supplier, Linda Lewis Kitchens, kicked off its 10th anniversary celebrations with the cutting of a special cake at a dealer demo day.
The birthday cake was branded in the LLK colours of turquoise and yellow, whilst the Linda Lewis caricature icon was recreated in icing.
The celebrations took place during a dealer day staged at the dedicated pizza demonstration kitchen Linda Lewis Kitchens shares with Orchard Ovens by Valoriani, which showcases the ranges of both pizza equipment specialists.
Attending the demo day, and joining in the birthday celebrations, were Diane Moden, David Holt and Julie Willis from CKS Catering Equipment in Blackpool, Jacob Lee from Inox Equip and Charlotte Deykin from Pro Foodservice Reps.
Orchard Ovens’ Andrew Manciocchi demonstrated how to cook pizzas in Valoriani’s wood-fired Igloo oven, in the Valoriani gas-fired OT oven and in two of the Cuppone electric pizza ovens – the Baby Giotto and the Paolo twin-deck oven.
Pizza preparation was demonstrated through the use of two Friulco dough divider and rounder machines, a heavy-duty former roller, also manufactured by Friulco, and the Cuppone dough press.
