Lincat’s UK sales team has begun 2015 under new leadership after Rob Gibson took up his new role this month following the retirement of Tony Aston.
As the company’s new UK sales director, Gibson will assume full responsibility for Lincat’s UK sales function. This will include managing the growth of the UK sales team and helping to support its network of distributors.
A key part of the role will also involve him working closely with Lincat’s marketing team to build brand awareness and promote customer loyalty.
“In a sector that can be obsessed with price, it’s important that we continue to set ourselves apart by adding ever greater value for our customers,” explained Gibson, who has been with Lincat for 16 years.
“This is why, at the start of 2015, we decided to reorganise our regional sales teams and recruit another two members of field sales staff, to ensure more comprehensive coverage across the UK. We have also appointed sales office supervisor Matthew Sanders to further improve customer service, which is a clear priority in my new role.”
Gibson has spent the last two years as Lincat’s group national accounts manager prior to his recent promotion.
Lincat produces over 450 separate products for cooking, holding and food display. The company also manufactures and markets 160 products under the FriFri and Q90 brands.
