Nick McDonald, the MD of Lincoln-based catering equipment manufacturer, Lincat, has spoken to BBC Look North (East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire) on the impact of Brexit.

The East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region voted strongly to leave the EU, and it seems McDonald is positive about the referendum’s outcome.

During his interview, he said: “A lower value of the pound has to be positive for exporters.

“The big question mark, and it’s a couple of years down the road, is what type of trade deal the government manages to negotiate.”
